As part of our digital first strategy at Arab News, we wanted to create an app which delivers essential information from across the region directly into our readers hands. 
 
We utilised vertical photos for each section to offer something dynamic.  
 
Other features included a read back option to have any article read aloud and a news basket to save articles to be enjoyed later or off-line. This was the first time AN has introduced an editorial product of this kind.
