We commissioned illustrator Alex Green to create illustrations capturing the emotion and heartbreak of the displaced people to accompany the coverage.
A deep dive was created using Shorthand software for an immersive digital read.
Promo videos were created and also a documentary collaborating with broadcaster Al-Arabiya highlighting the plight of the tribe.
